In case your wondering what they are, here you go, Link Exchanges are becoming more common as they are an effective means of advertising. The most basic is a Link Exchange or Link Swap. Basically you come in agreement with another administrator of another forum, and he/she puts a link to your forum on his/her forum, and while you put a Link on your forum to the other admin's forum. Another common one is basically the same as above, but you use banners/logos instead of links.(but still make the banner click able) you could visit http://cgarts.myfreeforum.org to request a banner. Some admins require you to meet a certain criteria before you could link exchange. Some might want you to register on their forum first and make a semi number of posts, and they will do the same for you. You must Link Exchange in this forum, anywhere else it will be locked/moved at the other MFF mod's and admin's choice. This is a community meaning don't be a meanie and only Link Exchange with the 'top dogs'. Small Forums need Link Exchanges too!!!! Saying ' I will only Link Exchange with 'top dog' forums only'. If anyone should see link exchanges being offered outside of this forum, then they will now be getting either removed or moved to this section, please make all link exchange offereings in here from now on. Question: In this link exchange forum, are we only allowed to exchange links of forums, or are we allowed to link like these: Website -> Forum Website -> Website Forum -> Website ? _________________

Quick point here, when giving someone your code to put on their forum, make sure you include alt="description here" in the <img> tag. Search engines pick this up very well.

So if I was to give my banner code which is

I've added some spaces so it comes as code not as the banner. how or where would I enter a description into this.

This looks a rally good tip if I could add one somewhere into this, thanks.
