As the number of posts in the support forum grows, it has become noticable that it gets harder and harder for people to help themselves finding answers via "search" as there is way too much dross to work through

As such we are implementing a policy of purging some of the more totally useless topics in the support parts of the forum.

We apologise if this reduces your post counts, where you have tried to give good advice to people who simply could not be bothered to use the advice well, and hence dragged a topic into the mire. But please accept the fact that the main reason for this forum is to try and help people help themselves.

Reducing the dross found in searches will help us all.

To me i dont think it matters at all about post counts being reduced i,d Rather have a low post-count knowing the posts i have made were helpful, rather than post on any thread just to boast it up (sorry to me post counts are for kids, as they seem to be more an image thing)

With all the rubbish in the bin then it will make the forum even more helpful, and less daunting to any new forum owner, that whats some help
