I have just realized that web page and gallery requests are unable to respond properly to a so called "conditional get" request. Implementing this should add a little speed It has to be said that an awful lot of the web does not do this, as there are browser issues to deal with. This work does seem to have exposed a few bugs in the system, even some missing graphics file in the admin panel!
