I am quite pleased with this one.

The {MYFF.ONLINELIST} can be used in summary view to show a list like the one at the bottom of the forums index page, or in tabular view to show a list in a format of your choice.

The following macros are defined:

For each user:

'NAME'
'POSTS'
'ALLOW_VIEWONLINE'  (set to 1 if the user allows their online status to show)
'USER_LEVEL' (1 for ADMIN 2 for MOD 0 for USER)
'LASTVISIT'  (last visit time)
'U_PROFILE'  (link to profile)

Generally:

'ONLINELIST_TITLE'
"S_ONLINELIST_FORMAT'  (0 for summary view, 1 for table view, 2 for a custom view)
'TOTAL_USERS_ONLINE'
'LOGGED_IN_USER_LIST'
'RECORD_USERS'

as per usual you can and should tweak the cms_onlinelist.tpl file to suit your own template.

No, who is online  is a standard phpbb2 function, we allow that to be improved by allowing more macros in the template.

I'm befuddled as to what bit you mean? Do you mean the "Welcome" portal at the top left here?

no lol, on your forum at the top you have a "who is online" button that uses viewonline.php, it views who is online on a new page format. Thats what i would love to have.  in a perfect world it would be an admin or moderator function only but ill take what i can get for now lol....

is that a special portal...

just so you know and maybe help someone else out.  Since i cant make up my mind if i want that on the main page or set it up for admin only i just added that as a shortcut on my desktop that way i can run it anytime i want to and its not something that members know about so its makes a great tool and i can just click on the icon and bam...

thanks again... when i get more confortable with some specifics ill work on including that in the form, i want to make some changes and poss add ip and some other info to the tool...

peace and enjoy, thanks again
