All boards now have addtional options in the administration panel to control who can see a log of moderator actions and edits to posts. This log will tell you who did what and to what as well as when. It is an invaluable tool for checking that forum moderators are behaving. Isee the log only tells you the action of what a mod did but doenst say what they have edited eg before and after edit log is this going to be a thing of the furtue or will that be to much space etc _________________ XXVIII/ I/ MCMLXXI

There are no plans for that. I can't really see it adding much of use to be honest.

This is meant for those situations where an action has taken place that no one will own up to. This will tell you who did it.

I think that that will do the trick 95% of the time. In fact I think you will struggle to come up with a scenario where more info would be really needed.

I was thinking more of a over zealous mod that would edit or delete post for no reason just because they dont like the member etc then it would be good to see the before or after bit . But as you say if you just have the log as we have now if any mod seems to be a little over active in there it would show _________________ XXVIII/ I/ MCMLXXI
