Fix For: This Board Has No Forums

[Please Register and Login to this forum to stop seeing this advertsing.]

[admin (no pm's please)]

If you are seeing this error following todays upgrade.

A solution should be to login to the admin panel.

Select Portals
Select Portal Settings
Edit the ANNOUNCE portal (actually any will do)
Click Update Portal

This will do a full cache clean and fix the issue.

I have this same problem and have tried the fix but it hasn't worked. I have also searched under "This board has no forums" and it has brought up a lot of the same advice regarding permissions so I have gone over them and just can't seem to find out where the problem is. Could anything else cause this or should I carry on checking the permissions?

Never mind I fixed it!! I am so proud LOL

Basically I had changed the permissions for the anonymous user and didnt know where to go to change them back but found that info by searching the other threads.
