Im in the process of setting up a free forum and I could do with the following points clarifying before I write up the FAQ.

1. Youtube...are links allowed to this site?

2. I appreciate that links to illegal bootlegs and downloads are not allowed on the forums, however, is it possible to post a link to a site where downloads are available along with other information? Say a poster is looking for a link to a bands live performance, would it be possible to say "Try whatever.net"?

Many thanks!

You can disscuss it yes so saying something like i heard you can get it form whatever.com is not a link to a download.

In essence the sites that end up banned from our system are sites that are deliberately making a thing of linking to illegal downloads. If you are running a site that is trying not to do it, then we are not out to get you.

We can always resolve issues "peacefully" with anyone whose intentions are good.
