If you have a look at my forum, I'm currently rebuilding it to work for phpbb2.

Me thinks the viewforum_body.tpl is pretty much set as far as layout goes, just have to tweak title and links on there, then onto viewtopic_body.tpl.

Decided to give it some news buttons for pm, msn, aim, edit, including post icons and such.......

The main links are supposed to go lighter, but the color was horrible so, I've set them to get darker when mouse over.

When I finish it? I've only edited the index page and view forum page, still got the pics page to heavy edit, then it's all the other little bits.

Getting the logo working was a sod, just sit tight on the template you've got until I shout this as ready.

I was wondering if this style was ever added or will be added soon to the version 2. Last time someone was working on it and i just wondered how it was coming?

Slowly getting there, you have to understand I have a lot going on, but that aside it is pretty detailed as not only am I moving things about on various pages, I'm also putting in new code as well. I'd say somewhere between 40-60% done, will hopefully get more done slowly to push this for completion prior to Christmas.

FAQ
Search (results page in need of sorting)
Header (standard links need relocating)
Index (inclusion for birthday hack)
Footer (tweaked for creation and modification credits)
Post icons
View forum (still needs a little tweaking to font size), Inclusion of sub-forums code for the appearance.
Memberlist (username font color needs fixing)
Profile Edit page

What's left:

Information page

Memberlist has also had more tweaks go in, as has the search area, which is still half done at the moment. I've got override on for the time being to give you guys a quick preview of what has been completed. About 4 new bits have go in to the css file, all for various things

Viewing topics is now looking a whole lot better and more like it should, hard a hard time sorting this at least 1hrs worth of fiddling went into getting it looking right on page.

After finding out the extra gumpf for the icq status was the main cause for my troubles, that lot got removed and the appearance cleaned up, then it was sorting the borders and the poll area, as well as the next and previous post links.

I've set slot3 to default to allow a preview, so you wont have to login

Still there is more tweaking needed to the viewing of topics, but it just shows the amount of editing needed, when you consider the small features I'm having to remove as phpbb2.x doesn't have them in comparison to phpbb3.x. Their also features that we don't need at all.

When completed admin can save the template from one of my slots and upload it for all forums to use.

View_profile appears to be complete had to rip out the macros and recreate the containing tables.
